Nigel - did you weld the outlet onto the bottom of your tank? can I guess you are running without a swirl pot and just taking the feed straight from the tank? I have asked someone about adding a sort of swirl pot to the bottom of the tank, ie just a litre size box on one side, but he was wary of the tank buckling.
