When the indicators flash fast it's usually an indication that one of the bulbs (indicator or side repeater) has already blown Headlights - it souns as if there is a short on either the connector (or more likely) the bulb itself.

Subject: [Quantum Owners] All-round Light Issues

I have a 2+2 and am having issues with my lights, it might be the wires or an earth issue but I'm unsure.

Firstly, when I turn on my lights, (normal beam) the full beam blue light will be on in the car and I can hear a buzzing noise. It sounds like it's coming from behind the dashboard, it's bizarre. The front-left will also be out.

I opened the bonnet to take a look, disconnected the left light and reconnected it and it's fine, takes a bit of a wiggle but it comes on eventually.

Secondly, my right indicator is also flashing faster than normal, doesn't this mean, soon or later a bulb will blow?

The bit that's confusing me is the buzzing and the full beam blue light being on in the car when I only have normal lights on.

Any ideas? Thanks.
