Hi. Has anyone tried applying the range of decorative films now available to
fibreglass bodies like the Quantums? Do they really work and is there any
issues on fibreglass?

The specs. say they are good for outside use for 5 or 6 years. It struck me
that a paint respray costing £2500 might only last 10 to 15 years and applying
film two or three times would be much cheaper. Also we don’t have any
corrosion resistance issues to worry about. Old gel might be getting faded and
need reviving but a new film finish would cover it up.

Any thoughts?

Derek
