In some cases its also possible for rain water to get onto the wiper motor electrics, i believe the route is through the seals on the top of the spindle. I sealed mine a couple of years sgo and its been fine. My symptons were less serious, just meant that they would not self park. Guess youve got plenty to ho at. A pointer may be if they start working ehen all dried out. At least the scuttle comes of fairly easily. Nigel
