The rubber tube came from Quantum with the kits. I might be wrong but i think it’s a similar size to the ducting used on bathroom fans. On a hot day the tube can transfer quite a lot of heat from the engine bay into the air coming through the tube. Not a problem if you are moving with the roof down but if you are stuck in a traffic jam in the summer it’s not so good. Finding some insulated tube would be good but i’ve never got around to it.
Oh, some mesh over the end is also good, otherwise leaves can find there way into the tube and then get stuck in the air vents, very annoying.
