My saloon does have pop up lights but they are still pop up, one of the
few bits of the car i've not touched (yet).
Basically a hinged box with the flap making the top and headlight at the
back.
Not sure what the headlights were from.
I'm sure there was at least one 2+2 with pop up lights as well, i think
there was an article in the owners club mag years ago.

I'm not aware of any cars being fitted with pop up headlights. If you
do the conversion it would make a good article for Quantum Mechanics.
