Hello Jim, Did the original Fiesta have the battery so close to the distributor that you need right-angle connectors for all five of the HT wires to the distributor? I ask because I have already tried to purchase a set from my local motor factor. They gave me straight connectors which would only fit if pushed very tightly (and slightly bent over) up against the battery. The original leads had right-angle connectors. The plug end was also wrong because these leads would not fit over the plug. I made some measurements and found that the fitting was for a plug with a smaller top, these leads would not fit the existing plugs - although I was assured by the supplier that they are the correct ones.
I've looked on ebay and found several clearly different types that are all described as fitting the XR2 engine. I hadn't thought of Halfords, will check there. I was just wondering if anyone knew the correct part number to ask for as I can order that and be confident they will fit.
