Had this fault on a Stag and its quite possible as it seems squared off rears
have a pocket of trapped air, which contains exhaust fumes.Very important to
cure if carrying young people as they are more susceptable to carbon monoxide
poisoning than older folk.Good luck with the fix.CheersJon
