Thanks Jim - I wondered what they were for. Will see if that works. The reason for asking about holding down the hood now was that when you get the odd dry and sunny day during these early months of the year it would be nice to get the hood down and go for a quick spin without the hood flapping about in the wind
As to the hood cover one of those was in the boot when I bought it. Have experience with these as I had one on the Scimitar SST which I sold prior to buying the 2+2. They are very good and greatly improve the looks of the car and will definitely fit it on once we get a period of dry and warm weather. Look forward to meeting you in the future.
