Could it be the fuel filler neck is perished? That could be adding extra
nastiest into the nasty fuel you have on there.

Lord Q tank is full of debris and even though has been cleaned out and
sealed with the POR tank sealer I think the fuel is eating the coating !
Do we know if there is any difference between the petrol and diesel tanks
internally. Outside they look the same ?
