It's strange there is no decode info anywhere - it was clearly put there for a reason & means something ;-) - I may try Ford as well to see if I can get any info.
I will take some photos and post them up - it's still in the saloon at present so may not be very clear. The bellhousing looks to be earlier than 91 - casting code is 87 TT 7F 096 AB XVI/1. The car (factory built saloon Q080 2 litre cvh) seems to have quite a few parts from multiple donors. Currently trying to identify stuff before refurbing or deciding on engine/box swap.
