I'm then attempting to extract the various values I need using Structure Key Member patches with no avail. I've searched the archives and found this: http://lists.apple.com/archives/quartzcomposer-dev/2006/Nov/msg00095.html
Like the name implies, Structure[...] patches only apply to Structure objects, not arbitrary Cocoa ones.
However, it might work through JavaScript e.g. foo["bar"] where "foo" is passed through a virtual input
