You can define objects along a curve using an iterator. You will need to specify a separate lookup table per dimension as needed as there are no built in 3d curves. This can be done using Timelines, Interpolators, LFOs among others by exposing their timebases and feeding them Iterator Variables' Position. Here's a quick example:
