The image based Source Patches (Image, Movie, Video) have a checkbox
setting called "Disable Color Correction". While I know what those
words mean I don't know precisely what that checkbox is meant to do
(and so far have not found it documented).
I've made a comp that does some image processing on QT movies input
using the Movie Loader patch and I find that the luma on the output
side is too bright (brighter than expected based on what the comp is
doing) when "Disable Color Correction" is enabled.
If active, it simply means those images won't be color matched to the
destination colorspace. It's generally faster, but not accurate.
However, it's useful when you deal with images you explicitly don't
want to color match e.g. masks.
Also, after disabling this checkbox and saving the comp I find the
checkbox(es) is re-enabled upon re-opening the saved comp.
that's a bug: it looks like the setting is saved correctly, but when
re-opening the saved file, it's reset to "Disable Color Correction"
