I, too, have been seeing issues on Leopard with QC comps using QT
movies with JPEG compression. I've been trying to reduce and track
down the behavior for a few weeks.
In one case an app of mine crashes on MacBooks running Leopard.
In another case there are prominent black bars that flash across the
screen periodically: this is on a number of different systems.
These are different applications, but they share the same basic
structure: QuartzComposerPlayer sample code as a starting point, QC
comps with QT movies. When Photo-JPEG is the codec, things don't
behave so well.
