Yes, certain patches are not deemed safe to run in contexts such as
webkit and iTunes visualizers. Custom patches are unfortunately
untrusted.

It then says it failed to load my custom plugin. What deams a
composition to have to be loaded in safe mode, and how can you work
around this. My ruby bundle is using the input values and making a
web service call.
The ruby call works if I put my custom patch inside a regular
composition.
