Hello Oscar,

You might try using a sprite for each of the two images you are fading between, which has a Z axis, this allows for you to push the image out and pull it back in using a Interpolation patch. You can also hook a similar solution to the X and Y to get varying degrees of movement in all 3 axis. Could be fun to figure out. Have fun.

Hi, is there a way to make something like a ken-burns effect from QC?

What I'm trying to do is create a screensaver that behaves like the
normal Pictures screensaver, but it renders the name of the file on
top of the picture and allows you to pause the picture by pressing a
key. It doesn't necessarily have to be a screensaver, but it'd be
better if it was.

So far, I've successfully used directory scanner to get a list of
photos, and their names, and render them on the screen. However, they
just appear one after the other. I tried a dissolve patch using the
previous picture and that didn't work that well... I'd appreciate any
ideas...

Thanks,

-Oscar
