There's an example somewhat like this in GPU Gems 3 (edited by Hubert
Nguyen, published by Addison Wesley). " Object Detection by Color:
Using the GPU for Real-Time Video Image Processing" and written by
Apple's Ralph Brunner, Frank Doepke, and Bunny Laden. It made a most
impressive demonstration at WWDC. They track a colored ball and
substitute another image (e.g. a duck) in real time.
