Hi Apple Gurus.
I came across a very strange problem when create my GUI in interface builder. When create a new application, I open the .nib file, drag a QCView onto it. Then I specify the load file to let the QCView to play it. Building the application and run, everything works perfectly. Now, I want to try an experiment: I open the inspector window of QCView and go to the Core animation part, there is two options of view: ContentView and View. I thought one is for the root window which the QCView hosts, the other is for the QCView itself. I checked both of them, and went to the background filter part. Then I added a core image filter: bloom to the window ground. As you know, the QCView in the Nib window is usually black. After I added the bloom filter, the edge of the QCView shows bloom effect. This proved that the Bloom Core Image filter had been added to the QCView in the interface builder at least.

However, when I rebuilded the Application to run it, the QCView disappeared. I can't see the Quartz Composer Composition animation. After I unchecked the two options mentioned above, the QCView appeared again. What's more, as long as any one of options is checked, the QCView doesn't work. So I guessed whether the QCView doesn't support the core animation function to add with it?

Thank you for any reply. Good Luck.
