protocol has been added, Photo Visualizer, is this Apples doing? i am
running 10.5.2 + the new iphoto
You might be able to pull it off with a custom plugin that registers
additional protocols (I'm guessing this is what iPhoto does?), but
it'd be tricky since it's not public api stuff.
To further the mystery:
Feb 6 12:52:01 phendrana Quartz Composer[95547]: Registered
Protocols: (\n "com.apple.QuartzComposer.protocol.graphic-
animation",\n "Something Kineme",\n
"com.apple.QuartzComposer.protocol.image-filter",\n
"com.apple.QuartzComposer.protocol.graphic-transition",\n
"com.apple.QuartzComposer.protocol.visualizer-rss",\n
"com.apple.QuartzComposer.protocol.screensaver",\n
"com.apple.QuartzComposer.protocol.visualizer-music",\n
"com.apple.QuartzComposer.protocol.visualizer-photo"\n)
Looks like photo visualizer is already built in as a protocol, so
iPhoto just does something to activate it? Not sure there. I know
that it isn't visible anywhere on my machine (10.5.1, iPhoto from
Tiger), despite being registered, as the log message shows...
