I've found that playing a movie in its own QTMovieLayer is MUCH faster
than on a QCCompositionLayer.
And it also seems that performance is hit badly when you want to have
any more than one QCCompositionLayer in the same container. Even in
separate windows, I have bad slowdowns whenever I want more than one
QCCompositionLayer on screen anywhere. This is on the top model iMac
with the 256MB video card. It doesn't seem to mind loads of
QTMovieLayers, its just these Compositions, which is sad, as I really
wanted to have a stack of compositions in my app. Am I doing
something wrong?
