Hi, if you want to open the QTZ files that come with sample developer
Quartz Composer plugins, you need to compile and build the plugins
first. If you doubleclick on the XCode Project File (.xcodeproj) in
the same folder (or underneath) and build the project, it will create
the .plugin file for you, which needs to go in /Library/Graphics/
Quartz Composer Plug-Ins/ or ~/Library/Graphics/Quartz Composer Plug-
Ins/ or /System//Library/Graphics/Quartz Composer Plug-Ins/
Then you can load the related QTZ file no problem.
P.S. In XCode you could also set the Active Build Target to 'Build &
Copy' so when you build, it automatically copies the .plugin to ~/
Library/Graphics/Quartz Composer Plug-Ins/ (avoids messing around in
the finder)

I thought may be I should copy the plugin file to the appropriate
location
/Library/Graphics/Quartz Composer Plug-Ins/
or
/Library/Graphics/Quartz Composer Patches/
like I did for other plugins like Kineme plugins, however, I can not
find any file in the plugin format to copy there. There are no
directions in the read-me file about how to install those plugins
either...
Am I missing something?
