I've placed the QC Visualizer App (examples) in my login items and have looked briefly at the Screens source folder. This app is beautifully organized, but before I try any modifications I thought I would mention the following on this list. I use the same 9 screens and it takes me 3 or 4 minutes to arrange them into a 3x3 matrix (using the Visualizer interface). This works very nice for multi-screen rendering (I haven't done any high-performance stuff--I may not need to), but, not only is there no way to pre-set the screen geometry, whenever I load a new composition, again thru the Visualizer interface, I have to reset the geometry. I have seen a previous sample regarding using a 'processor' only composition' to allow keyboard/mouse input and this also worked quite well in some brief tests that I did. I use one mac mini as a host, the other 8 screens run as clients. I also normally render the composition to the host and my current testing uses rendering compositions only. thanks, aram _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list.
