I have enabled the added patches in Leopard and am wondering what will happen if I use a private patch in a composition that is included in an application. Is there something I need to do when building the app in XCode to make the patch usable?
There is nothing you need to do. The only exception is if you use the backdrop patches (used in iChat/photobooth), these won't work outside of a couple apps. But other than that, it should Just Work.
