Hi.
Im not able to re-create this bug (yet?), but I made a smart group a
while back, and noticed that lately upon opening QC 4.0, I had a huge
stall before the app was usable (maybe 20-30 seconds of beach balling
after opening a comp). Looking around I noticed that somehow the smart
group had been duplicated maybe 500 times, and the plist containing it
(DTAssetLibraryGroups.plist) in App Support/Quartz Composer was a few
megs in size. Deleting said plist returned Quartz Composer to being
snappy on loading an initial comp, and gave me back my sanity.
Just a heads up. If I can get it to do it repeatedly, ill report it as
a bug. Is there a secret key combo to making new smart groups I may
have inadvertently hit? Im a heavy keyboard user when creating
patches, so thats definitely a possibility. Just throwing it out there.
