I've got a dual 2.3Ghz G5 from late '05 that I use at home for running
QC compositions in my studio. It's still got the original GeForce 6600
in it and I run the graphics outputs to 2 flat screens. Recently I put
a larger HD screen in the studio which has VGA input and I've been
dreaming of running it as a third monitor for the G5 specifically for
outputting compositions at full screen. My research on video card
options thus far has been kind of confusing so far. Discussions on
Apple forums for G5 seem to suggest you need a PCIe card that is
specifically Mac compatable and that you can't get them easily or
cheap. Does anyone else run a G5 desktop configuration with multiple
videos cards? Any recommendations from the QC users in this situation?
