On a side note, does anyone know what I have to do to make it work in QC 3? :)

Open build settings. Change Base SDK from 10.6 to 10.5 -- linking against 10.5 ensures 10.5 and 10.6 compatibility (at the cost of losing all those cool whiz bang 10.6 features ... like, uh ... gcd? that's probably about it.)

(I checked it out, changed that setting, compiled, and it worked without a complaint on my 10.5 machine)

In general: always link against the lowest version of the SDK possible for what you need -- it ensures better compatibility. If you _need_ 10.6 functionality, then by all means use it, but if not, there's no point in artificially limiting your user base (esp when the QC community's motion from QC3 to QC4 is muddier than that of QC2 to QC3...)

The source code is also at http://code.google.com/p/swquartzcomposerpatches/ , maybe if i compile it on my macbook it might work...hmmm....

please please please please don't commit build directories into subversion -- they're huge, and they take up lots of space, and they're auto-regenerated when you compile (so they don't serve much of a purpose).

(who wants to start a petition to the dev-tools guys to make this more user-obvious?) ;)

[david: sorry if this came off as soap-boxy -- not my intention ;)]
