Ok, this is getting funny. :-) In my work, I use two different descriptions; one is Quartz Composer Programmer, the other is Quartz Composer Artist. Programming and content creation are two separate things, and QC has a little bit of an overlap on that.
Interactive media, and realtime animation are two other suitable, broader terms, that apply to a great deal of things done with Quartz Composer (though not all).
