i have a custom patch that has a radio group in its setting pane. the behavior of the buttons is not what i would expect.
if i link everything up between IB and the code, it sort of works, but every time i close/reopen the settings pane the radio button selection has changed - most of the time with more than one radio button in the group selected(!). is this something that i have to manage in the code? making sure the selections are mutually exclusive? i had assumed that was the whole point of creating a radio button group in IB - that the choices are mutually exclusive. i had also assumed the that communication was kind of "one way" from interface to code - ie: someone clicks the radio button and i handle that value in code .. is it actually the case that i have to provide some feedback in the other direction? (ie: telling the interface which radio button should be selected when the settings pane opens?) thanks for any advice.. rob
