I already tried what you suggest: I created a macro patch (black, square
cornered one) and put
"Accumulator" patch within the macro.  Then I "Publish Outputs - Image".  (I
also tried to insert
output splitter, then publish output). Once I published an output, I noticed
that the output port
appeared on the macro patch, and its color changed to purple. But my problem
is "Feedback"
patch which I picked from QC Library and put within the macro.  It still has
one input port, "Sample
Value", and no output port.   ??

I apologize for the rudimentary question.  I searched the web but documents
on QC4 seem rare.
