Well, suppose we try a different example. https://developer.apple.com/library/mac/#samplecode/OpenCL_Procedural_Grass_and_Terrain_Example/Introduction/Intro.html
runs fine on my MacBook Air. Exits with status 1 on the Westmere Mac Pro with factory installed 5870. This uses just Xcode, and not Quartz Composer... Does this run on any other Westmere with 5870? Is it a setup problem on my machine? -- Glen On Nov 22, 2010, at 3:40 PM, Roger Jones wrote: > Running the openCL list linked below my 4870 does not show up, though it > works with smallLux an I thought it was working with earlier versions of QC. > Is the OpenCL Context info patch reliable? > > Roger Jones > > On Nov 22, 2010, at 2:00 AM, JeanMarc Noel wrote: > >> Hi, >> As speckert i'am also confused regarding the choice of a graphic card with >> decent openCL support in QC. >> I asked for a refund for my ATI 5870.
