I made a virtual macro for a midi controller. Worked fine, no problems. Then from the patch library menu I edited the macro, changed output port names, and now it hangs QC. It hangs with any attempt to open .qtz from original in QC Patches folder, or if it is in any comp. I can yank it from the Patches folder and existing comps will not crash, and work as expected (whew) with the patch, but I get the virtual macro now with forward slash in front of name, which means I cannot edit it, or can I? Not to mention this makes me nervous.... Is there any way to salvage the virtual macro comp, open it somehow? IIRC, the macro is a bunch of kineme global midi cc input patches with some maths, all set up for a single midi controller.
