Hello Charlie,

don't use the Image Transform patch, if you only want to scale the image. The patch does resample the original texture to new fixed pixel dimensions. thats way it stutters.

I added a Sprite patch (with antialiased edges setting), using scaled width and height values. the Sprite renderer takes care of how to scale the original texture to the screen.
