Running SL On an early 2011 MBP should be possible. I managed to install SL
on a MBP that came with Lion by starting the Lion MBP in target disk mode
(restart and hold T), connecting it into another early 2011 MBP that came
with 10.6 installed, then cloning the SL disk onto the Lion one (don't
forget to back up :p).

Important thing to note is that you can't run an os older than 10.6.6 or so
(my SL install disk was 10.6.3 so didn't work) on a 2011 MBP because that
doesn't support the lastest hardware (thunderbolt, gfx, whatnot).
