I'm not sure exactly how to do it as far as the actual script, but you would add a script to your build phase to automate the plugin move and opening of that specific file.
The kineme "skankySDK" has a script in the default template that does the plugin move part, you might want to check that out as a starting point. Maybe someone else knows more particulars.
