Hmm, I haven't encountered that yet. I will check soon, and I'm guessing others 
on list may chime in.

You might try checking the 32 bit QC runtime to see if the keyboard works in 
that mode. Occasionally, bugs in one runtime are isolated.

If using third party plugins is possible for you, you may also wish to check 
the "freeboard" QCPatch plugin that is made by kineme, as this also can receive 
keyboard data.
