Hi, I am trying to redo a QC composition that I have been using with iVisualize. As iVisualize is not being developed anymore and only runs with iTunes in 32 bit mode, which has been discontinued in Mavericks, I need to find another way.
I am having some success with a Music Visualizer composition, but can’t do what I need with the information that is included in the Track Info Input. With iVisualize I could use the information in the ‘Composer’ field in iTunes, but this doesn’t appear to be included in the Track Info Input. Essentially I need the composition to look for images in the folder of the currently playing song in iTunes. I have my Music folder set up as follows. Single artist albums are in the structure - Album Artist/Album Compilations - Compilations/Album What I did with the iVisualize composition is that I copied the text from the Album Artist or ‘Compilations’ fields in iTunes to the Composer field, and then in the QC compilation I could use the Composer and Album fields to build the URL string used by the Directory Scanner Patch. Without being able to access the Composer field though, or another field, such as ‘Grouping’, I can’t see what I can do to get the composition working. I’d be glad of any help.
