I'm worried that they didn't follow up on the report from 2008.
It does make me question how many users kexec into new kernels.

There is nothing special about the Linux kernel or kexec binary
I'm using.  Those are both stock; the two line Xen patch skip the
EBDA probe is the only custom code.  Perhaps if it were wrapped up
to be part of the 'no-real-mode' command line option they would merge it
(although the probe happens prior to command line parsing right now).
