Hi, after yesterday I decided to use QubesOS on my main SSD, so I backed up everything and backed it up. But I forgot to clone the modified templateVMs.
Now I installed QubesOS on the other SSD, wanted to get the backups back and couldn't. Thus I followed some how-to from this mailing list. I cloned the default template VMs, removed the original template VMs, restored the backups and renamed the modified templateVMs. Now I reinstall the original templateVMs. But why do I actually need to do that? Why do I need the original templateVMs when my modified templates are actually those with updates and some additional software?
