I'm trying to install Qubes on my XPS i5 Desktop with 8Gigs and an Nvidia Gpu. I get as far as installing, rebooting, and setting up my username. But every time it freezes at the Network Setup. I took out the hard drive and put it in another computer, and got past the network setup and logged in for the first time. But when I put back the HDD in my XPS Qubes froze at the loading screen.
The error message I got in my other computer before I got past the network setup, I guess it just didn't get hung up on it lol. [Dom0] > > Setting up Networking failure! > > ['/usr/sbin/service', 'qubes-ntvm', 'start'] failed: > Redirecting to /bin/systemctl start qubes -netvm.service > Job for qubes-netvm.service failed. See 'systemctl status > qubes-netvm.service' and 'journalctl -xn' for > details. > Is that saying there's a log of the failure in /bin/systemctl or something? Do y'all think it's a hardware compatibility problem? Or is it something I can fix by running it on my other computer? Let me know if I need to provide more info! -Radio- -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "qubes-users" group.
