exactly. just installed it on another machine and noted down the exact error 
message, this is what i see, too, but with a couple more commas between the ''.

on the second machine i set up (Lenovo P50), contrary to what i reported 
earlier, the UEFI bootloader install worked, though!

it has been reported previously that the xrandr-screen-location-config thingy 
is missing from the kde systemsettings5 "display and monitor" config option 
iirc, i use "arandr" in the meantime.
