This proof of concept shows how it is possible for an attacker to take full control of the adapter and to add a backdoor in the OS kernel using DMA accesses. The vulnerability was unconditionally exploitable when the ASF function was enabled on the network card to any attacker that would be able to send UDP packets to the victim.
