Hi list I've been through the archives and found a number of partially helpful suggestions, none of which give me a workable solution. Google also gives me http://nknu.net/mount-nexus5-on-fedora23-using-simple-mtpfs/ which unfortunately doesn't fully work on my Qubes system - I can map the phone device but then mounting with simple-mtpfs inb dom0 gives me a blank directory.
So, having the following two systems: Qubes R3.1 Android 6.x phone (unrooted) ..what's the best way to do file transfer between the two? Ideally I'd like to be able to mount the filesystem of the phone and be able to read/write contents to a Qubes AppVM.
