9350 (2016) is a Skylake with Broadcom 4352.
I'm not sure about XPS 15 9550, but XPS 13 9350 is very similar to XPS 13 9343
(the Ubuntu developer's version).

lspci shows,
3a:00.0 Network controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM4350 802.11ac Wireless
Network Adapter [14e4:43a3] (rev 08)

In my previous installation of Ubuntu, I had to install kernel 4.4 or 4.5 to
use it.

Any possibility to use an external WiFi dongle?
