I can confirm that a Qubes 3.2 can boot on a Lenovo T560, however it requires the kernel4.8 present in the qubes-dom0-unstable repository. Without this kernel, the installer, or an already installed system will reboot. It is however possible to install the system on an external disk and update the kernel from the unstable repository.
