So i got the system running again. man was I scared. reinstalling grub didn't
help.

but What I did was boot the qubes installation iso and chose troubleshooting.
Then booted into recovery mode prompt.

Then did chroot /mnt/sysimage then did fsck -y /dev/mapper/dom0_root

It went through pages of errors it said it fixed. then I rebooted and qubes
started with no issues.

I believe the issue was caused by suspending for too long. In 3.1 I would get
freezes sometimes if I woke from the power button instead of the kb, after a
long suspend. But I don't remember having a suspend issue in 3.2 or for many
months. This time i forgot it was sleeped and woke it with power button again,
 after almost 6 hours suspend.

Hopefully my system is ok now. I'm stubborn and will keep letting pc go to
sleep and see if this ever occur again on my system when waking from the kb as
well.
