I just did a fresh install. I was running a 8gb ram on 250gb SSD. The only
additional VM i created was Kali Linux using the method of running a debian 8
clone and Katoolin.

At first it was fine. Then I shut it down and when I tried to open it got the
error message.

First I also did a separate install from HVM with an iso file. That was working
ok but now I removed the ISO VM since I couldnt do get past the login screen
staying gray and not going away. It would give me a small base on the bottom
with the kali screen and that was it.

Ive followed the info at qubes-os.org/doc/out-of-memory/ and nothing helps
there. Everything showed fine with plenty of room.

I took it a step further today to see if the ram was an issue at all and
upgraded my ram to have 12gb now. Same error.

Any ideas on this and what the best VM settings should be for what I have?
