I see. It may work once rtiangha gets around to adding 4.12 support to his 
github qubes kernel repo (->

4.9 is very likely to support the rx 550 (since support for most other Polaris 
cards was also added/improved in 4.9), but I can't find anything definitive 
(and the Rx 550 is actually the latest Polaris card in the lineup), so the 7750 
is probably a safer bet, if returning the 550 is non-trivial.
