After installing Qubes 4rc1 on a new laptop, I took a backup of my Windows 7 VM from my old 3.2 installation and loaded it onto the new laptop. This did not work at all.
After some searching I came across a statement suggesting that Windows not work is a known issue and will be fixed with the final release of Qubes 4. My question is: Will the Windows 7 support work once rc2 comes out? I don't use the Windows support much, but when I do, it's really important. At the same time I can't stay with Qubes 3.2 since my new laptop is using Kaby Lake, and thus requires Qubes 4.
