I played a bit with the VM parameters, as some suggested, disabling the dynamic memory management (4GB allocated statically) and allocating more disk (10GB private and 20GB ystem), but nothing changes. I get the same window, it closes quickly, the VM halts. At this stage I guess this is not related to windows, as I have no proof that the VM has even attempted to boot on the windows image/cdrom. Does this mean that at the moment the creation of StandAlone VM is broken in Qubes 4 ? Because at this very early stage of VM creation, I have done nothing fancy yet.
